Wind blew my fedora away, today. And I walked away without looking back, as if it was an explosion. :D
Oh and this wasn’t taken with Instagram but it’s just as YOLO!
Great opportunities, little achievements.

In Your Eyes - I wrote this in 2003, and I’ve been playing it since and still couldn’t figure out a good arrangement for guitar; I think it’ll work best as a dance tune, like europop or something very electric and cut-off flange.
I see the world in your eyes
I see the love that never dies
I see the houses
I see the trees
The dandoline
In the morning breeze
But when you’re gone
When you’re not here
I sit around
And drink my beer
When you’re gone
When you’re not here
I sit Around…
I see the world in your eyes
I see the world in black and white
You’re the reflection of the light
(instrumental)
But now you’re gone
You’re no longer here
I sit around
And drink my beer
Now that you’re gone
And you’re not here
I sit around…
I see myself in your eyes
My crooked nose, the pile of lies
I see deception
I see surprise
The crescent moon
in the starry skies
I see the world in your eyes
Daniel Johnston wrote this, but it’s as if I did:
I’m getting closer to the fact
I’ve turned my back
On silly dreams
I’m walking down that lonely road
And my heavy load
I didn’t bother to bring it
The sun shines down on me
I feel like I deserve it
The sun shines down
I’m hiding out where you can’t see
Behind the wall
In the back of the room
And I’m crawling slowly through the dark
And feeling for
A punch line
And the sun shines down on me
I want to feel like I deserve it
And the sun shines down
I’m walking down that empty road
It ain’t empty now
Because I’m on it
And I’m getting closer to a hope
That I can carry
And take home with me
The sun shines down on me
And I feel like I have to earn it
The sun shines down
Thanks Maria, I had never heard of Daniel Johnston!
